A Lincolnshire Holiday – oil on panel, 200mm x 230mm
———————
The second of two still-lifes I had wanted to do for the exhibition in Lincoln Cathedral, but which never made it because I ran out of time (see the first here). The polaroid of the cathedral was actually taken by my exhibition counterpart Fraser Scarfe who kindly let me use it and whom I then credited in the painting itself, via that rather unusual check-list of items a person may take on holiday with them.
